Music
Like any artist Abraham's taste and style has continued to evolve over the decades of playing music. However, a few inspirations that have been instrumental in helping him develop his sound include Brian McKnight, Commissioned, Stevie Wonder, Boys 2 Men, and John Legend. Hints of these influences are present in his works in subtle ways and in the choice of genres for his work. His original work predominantly fits within RnB, Jazz, Blues, and Country, which also borrow elements from these genres to create his unique sound.
That said, Gospel music was the first to have captured his heart. He is also a graduate of Benedict College, where he honed his music style and skill. He was a member of an award-winning gospel choir at Benedict College under the direction of Darryl Izzard—a leader who showed him how to bring genuineness into his musical works. While attending Benedict college, he also played the tuba in the marching band.

Biography
Abraham Dustin Staten is a full-time musician from Winnsboro, SC, who currently lives in Charlotte, NC. Abraham is a multi-instrumentalist and a vocalist that has showcased his art at entertainment events and devotional celebrations around the country. His command on his vocal range, unique style with creative choices of melody, rhythm, and dynamics, and showmanship enable him to help move audiences emotionally and spiritually through a level of creativity and authenticity that is growing increasingly rare. At the same time, he brings an energy that transfers to his listeners through both powerful works and consistent interaction with audience members.
